Julieta’s Unplugged

After my recent Julieta’s overload (too much of her last album), I re-discovered just how good and talented she is… don’t mind me, I’ve always been one of her fans. I think she discovered, after participating in Lenine’s MTV Acústico how good his formula works - invite a good number of famous friends and you have a winner on your hand, which I assume hers will be.. I like it already! …. this Unplugged is absolutely beautiful…. Julieta worked her ass off on this one, but the many collaborations also help to carry the load. Some of my favorites: Gustavo Santaolalla, Marisa Monte, Juan Son and an uninspiring one with Mala Rodriguez.. don’t overlook the large orchestra (Lenine’s like) backing her up: Ceci Bastida on piano, and Natalia Lafourcade on various instruments).
